Funktionsweise

Um den Tempomat zu aktivieren, umfasst der Fahrer beim Beschleunigen die Reibungsmutter zwischen kleinem Finger und Handfläche. Diese Aktion zieht die Mutter fest und erzeugt genügend Reibung, um die Gasöffnung auf der gewünschten Position zu halten. Die Reibung ist so konzipiert, dass der Fahrer das Gas weiterhin öffnen und schließen kann, allerdings mit einem leichten Widerstand.

Zum Deaktivieren des Tempomats greift der Fahrer beim Verlangsamen wieder die Reibungsmutter zwischen kleinem Finger und Handfläche. Das Gas sollte sich frei öffnen und bei korrekter Deaktivierung wieder schließen.
