Die Videokünstlerin Christine de la Garenne (*1973 in Karlsruhe) und der Installationskünstler Via Lewandowsky (*1963 in Dresden) haben im Rahmen des Kunstprojekts »Beijing Case« der Bundeskulturstiftung während eines viermonatigen Studienaufenthalts in Peking eine gemeinsame Arbeit erstellt: Sie dokumentieren in einer Sammlung von Fotografien 120 Alltagsgegenstände und Situationen – Momentaufnahmen einer gesellschaftlichen und urbanen Umwandlung und zugleich Indizien für die eigenen Adaptionsprozesse an eine fremde Kultur.Den Abbildungen sind jeweils kurze Texte der Künstler mit Hintergrundinformationen gegenübergestellt; Essays von Fachautoren führen in das Projekt ein. Kulturelle Recherche und Spurensicherung, künstlerische und wissenschaftliche Annäherung verbinden sich so zu einem außergewöhnlichen Kunst- und Künstlerbuch.

These are totlally not what I was expecting. They are like a tuff dried Beef Jerky. To me - it was not ediele at all.
Cannot return because it is food.....
