Durch die Verbindung klassischer Elemente mit modernen und avantgardistischen Techniken schuf er eine neue visuelle Sprache für Stillleben im Editorial-Bereich. Dieses Buch enthält etwa 230 seiner überzeugendsten Arbeiten, ausgewählt aus 884 Bildern, die in 17 Jahren entstanden sind.

Peter Langer ist ein preisgekrönter Fotograf, der 2009, 2010 und 2012 mit dem LeadAward für Architektur- und Stilllebenfotografie ausgezeichnet wurde. Seine Fotografien erschienen von 2008 bis 2024 wöchentlich in der Stilkolumne des ZEITMagazins. Langer arbeitet mit führenden redaktionellen Lifestyle- und Modezeitschriften wie Vogue und Harper's Bazaar zusammen. Zu seinen kommerziellen Kunden zählen renommierte Marken wie Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Cartier oder Dior. Langer hat zwei Bücher veröffentlicht: On Line (Gestalten, 2009) und Volume One (Nightworks, 2011).
