Summary:
MZ-RH1 set (JPN). Sony's flagship portable MD player/recorder.
The display panel on the MZ-RH1 is only partially functional. The left side works but is very dim. The right side of the display does not work. 
All other features tested are functional.

Top Face : No callouts.
Sides : No callouts.
Bottom Face : One of the small sponge/padded cushions is missing. The device still sits flush when placed on a flat surface.
No dents or signs of crushing.

Product Condition (Functionality):
The display panel on the MZ-RH1 is only partially functional. The left side works but is very dim. The right side of the display does not work. 
Apart from that, the device is functional, both as a player and recorder.

Released in 2006, the Sony MZ-RH1 is generally regarded as the pinnacle of Sony's portable MiniDisc devices. It has both playback and recording functionality. 
In Japan it was bundled with the RM-MC35ELK inline remote control which has a high resolution display.
It weighs 100 grams without a battery or disc installed. 
It has a 3.5 mm headphone jack for audio output.
