Walking two dogs at once used to mean crossed leads, dropped bags, and two hands tied up. The WalkMate™ DuoGlide LightLead solves all of it in one handle. Two independent 3m retractable leads give each dog their own freedom — while separate brakes let you rein in either one instantly. A built-in LED torch lights the way on dark mornings and evening walks. Reflective nylon tape on both leads means you're visible from every direction. And a clip-in poo bag holder keeps clean-ups quick and hands-free. Available in Black, Red, and Blue.
The dual-spool mechanism rotates a full 360° so leads never cross, wrap, or lock up — even when your two dogs are circling each other, sniffing in opposite directions, or doing their best to tie you in a knot. One of the biggest frustrations of walking two dogs, completely eliminated.
Each lead has its own brake — so if one dog spots a squirrel and lunges, you lock that lead without affecting the other dog at all. Full control over two dogs, one-handed, without the usual panic of trying to manage a tangled mess.
The LED beam clips on and off the handle in seconds and points forward to light your path on early morning or evening walks. Combine it with the reflective strips running the full length of both leads and you're visible from every direction — cars, cyclists, other dog walkers included.
A bone-shaped dispenser holder sits right on the handle — clip a standard roll in and pull a bag out one-handed without putting the lead down, digging through pockets, or doing the awkward fumble while both dogs are pulling. Simple, but you'll wonder how you lived without it.

Weight limit: Designed for small dogs up to 8kg each. Not suitable for medium or large breeds — if your dogs are pulling hard or weigh more than 8kg, the DuoGlide is not the right lead and we'd suggest a single heavy-duty option instead.
LED batteries: The torch runs on standard AAA batteries (not included). Most owners find a set lasts a good few months of regular use.
Poo bags: The holder fits standard 9×13cm roll bags. The included roll is a starter — standard refills are widely available.
Best for two dogs of similar size: Because both leads are the same length, it works best when your two dogs are comparable in size and energy level. Mixed big/small pairings can be trickier to manage.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use this for two dogs that are different sizes?
Yes, as long as both are under 8kg. The independent brakes mean you can control a more excitable dog without affecting the calmer one. For very different energy levels or sizes, just be aware it takes a bit of practice to manage them smoothly.
Does the LED torch stay on the handle all the time?
The LED clips into the bone-shaped slot on top of the handle and slides out easily. Most owners leave it on for all walks — it's lightweight and doesn't affect the feel of the handle at all.
Can I use this for one dog and clip the second lead up?
Yes — many owners use it that way when one dog is off-lead or needs more freedom. Just lock the second lead fully retracted and clip it to the handle or tuck it away.
What poo bags fit the dispenser?
It fits standard 9×13cm roll-style poo bags, which are widely available in supermarkets and pet shops. Most standard-size rolls will fit.
