The Splice Line fittings are designed to be light weight and easy on the line. Both US Sailing and ISAF now allow Dyneema/ Spectra life lines for offshore racing and Dyneema/ Spectra is also a great product for the cruising sailor that wants to replace their stainless steel life line cables. Professional splicing recommended.

These kits include everything needed to install upper Dyneema life lines without gates. For double life lines, buy 2 kits. For adding a gate, use the C. Sherman Johnson Gate Kits.

These shoes usually last 6 mo - until we need next size- but aren’t in same spotless shape that Keens are for passing down to next sibling. As an adult, I add an arch support or metatarsal support insole. My kid hasn’t indicated it needs one for comfort - but it’s not as cushy at all compared to Saucony running shoes.
