The CS-275SA semi-automatic cold saw form Baileigh Industrial is a great production saw for any shop that is cutting thin, medium, or thick walled pipe, tubing, extrusions, or solid bar stock. The CS-275SA has an 11” blade and its design is based off of the CS-275M. This design has proven itself to be one of the best production saws available. The CS-275SA has a maximum capacity of 2-3/4” round at 90 degrees and has the ability to miter from 45 degrees to the right to 90 degrees on the left, perfect for slotting applications.
The CS-275SA is built right using only the best materials and craftsmanship. The head of the CS-275SA is made from heavy duty cast iron and has a self centering vise that is unique because it keeps the material perfectly centered with the blade for absolutely perfect cuts. The blade of the CS-275SA is direct drive and run by a 3 hp motor that requires 220 volt three phase power. The head features all metal gears that are ground and hardened for long life, and to ensure tight tolerances are kept throughout the life of the saw, the CS-275SA has a backlash adjustment. The CS-275SA has two operating speeds, 60 and 120 rpm.
Operation of the CS-275SA semi-automatic cold saw is easy as well, place the material in the vise and push the foot pedal. The vise will clamp the material; the blade will start up and lower itself cutting the material. Once the cut is complete the blade will shut off and the head will raise back up. This process save time and effort of the operator and will also make the shop more efficient.
