Epitalon is a peptide known for its anti-aging effects. As a potent antioxidant, it is comparable to melatonin and may help promote longevity. Keep reading to learn more about Epitalon and its health benefits.
What Is Epitalon?
Epitalon is a synthetic peptide made from four amino acids (alanine, glutamic acid, aspartic acid, and glycine). It is based on a natural peptide called epithalamin, which is extracted from the pineal gland. Developed by Vladimir Khavinson, a Russian professor and gerontologist, Epitalon was created to help restore function in various organs, prevent, and reverse the aging process. He is the Director of the Saint Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology.
Khavinson first extracted Epithalamin from the pineal gland of calves, but later synthesized Epitalon to overcome production limitations.
What Causes Ailments and Aging Symptoms?
At the ends of our DNA strands are telomeres, which protect the genome from loss during cell division. As cells divide, telomeres shorten, serving as a biological clock for aging. The enzyme telomerase helps reverse this process by regenerating telomeres. However, telomerase production decreases with age.
Russian researchers discovered that a tetratripide can reactivate telomerase, restoring telomeres and rejuvenating the body. Professor Khavinson’s studies on the elderly have shown that these biopeptides can improve physiological functions and reduce mortality by nearly 50% after 15 years.
The biopeptide Epithalamine, produced by the pineal gland, also helps regulate melatonin production. Studies on Epitalon show that it can reset the biological clock at the cellular level, allowing the body to repair tissues, restore immune function, and maintain optimal organ function.
Effects of Epitalon
Epitalon is biologically identical to substances naturally produced by the body. It can reset the biological clock of cells, enabling the restoration of organ function and tissue repair. Studies show it can activate telomerase production, rejuvenate the body, and address the root cause of aging.
Advantages of Epitalon
Epitalon offers numerous benefits due to its ability to stimulate telomerase production, including:
- Increased lifespan by prolonging telomeres in cells
- Promotion of deeper sleep
- Antioxidant effects, reducing lipid oxidation and normalizing T cell function
- Improvement in skin appearance and health
- Repair of damaged muscle cells
- Restoration of melatonin levels, especially in older individuals with impaired pineal gland function
- Increased resistance to emotional stress
Side Effects
Epitalon has been studied extensively, with no adverse reactions reported in over 100 scientific studies or clinical use in Russia. However, it’s important to consult your doctor to discuss potential side effects.
Dosage
Standard dosage options include:
- 0.5ml subcutaneously daily for 10 days (1x 5ml vial)
- 1ml subcutaneously daily for 10 days (2x 5ml vials)
Dosage will be discussed with your prescriber.
