Combined with an environment influenced by the high-pressure systems of the northern Great Plains, this results in truly distinctive, hearty, and dense whiskies.
This straight bourbon whiskey, our first from North Dakota, was aged for 5 years in a 53-gallon barrel. Made with 80% corn and 20% malted barley, the nose has dense oak and dried baking spices. The palate is warm and oaky, with notes of dried cherry, cranberry, old books, and leather. Rich, dense, earthy.
