Blacksmith Knife (X-Rhea Style) 1080 steelThis blacksmith knife (X Rhea style) is forged to a final shape profile with a brute de forge finish from a single piece of 1080 high carbon steel with a distal tapered slight drop point blade, flat ground, skeleton framed handle that has been tenoned back to the main frame for a solid feel in the handle. The handle is 3 8 inch at the thickest and shaped to fit the hand nicely. Full tang. 3 5 8 4 1 4 inch blade, 6 3 4 8 5 8 inches overall. 1080 high
About the Maker: Grant Nabity has been serious in his knife making since 2021. He is from Tescott, Kansas and is currently an ABS Apprentice Smith and a board member of the KCKA (Kansas Custom Knifemakers Assoc.) with aspirations of becoming a Journeyman Smith in the ABS. His primary style of knife is kitchen and hunting knives with a emphasis on the Brute De Forge style. He enjoys forging as close to finish as possible.
