DALI Phantom OW Frame M-250/M-375 at Vinyl Sound Toronto Canada

The DALI Phantom OW Frame M-250/M-375 is a shared on-wall mounting frame from DALI (Struer, Denmark), available at Vinyl Sound in Toronto, Canada. Compatible with both the DALI Phantom M-250 and Phantom M-375 in-wall loudspeakers, this single frame model converts either speaker from an in-wall to a fully on-wall solution without requiring any wall drilling or surface penetration. The frame mounts to any wall type, accommodates wall thicknesses from 8 mm to 68 mm, and supports both vertical Left/Right stereo orientation and horizontal centre-channel vocal mode, with cable entry inlets on all four sides. Because the Phantom M-250 and M-375 feature their own integrated housing, installing them into the OW Frame delivers the same acoustic performance as a traditional in-wall installation, with combined weights of 8.5 kg for the M-250 and 9 kg for the M-375 including the grille.

Self-Housed Speakers Deliver True In-Wall Sound On-Wall

A key acoustic advantage of the DALI Phantom M-250 and M-375 in the context of on-wall installation is their integrated housing. Unlike the Phantom S-series in-wall speakers, which rely on the wall cavity or a backbox to provide their rear acoustic volume, the Phantom M-250 and M-375 incorporate a sealed enclosure as part of the speaker assembly itself. This means that mounting them into the OW Frame M-250/M-375 provides exactly the same acoustic environment as a traditional in-wall installation, with no dependence on the wall void or frame interior for bass loading or rear volume. The OW Frame simply secures the speaker against the wall surface and presents it with a clean architectural finish, making it the most acoustically transparent on-wall frame solution in the DALI Phantom OW range.

Flexible Placement and No-Drill Installation

The OW Frame M-250/M-375 is designed to make the Phantom M-series feel like a conventional flat on-wall speaker. The slimline 751 x 226 mm frame footprint and 100 mm mounting depth allow the speaker to be positioned beside, above, or below a television or projection screen with the same ease and visual discretion as a flat-panel wall-mount speaker bracket. The frame's horizontal vocal mode orientation makes it particularly well suited for use as a centre channel speaker positioned directly above or below the display in a home cinema system, while vertical Left/Right mode supports stereo or multichannel surround deployment in music rooms, living rooms, and open-plan spaces. Cable entry inlets on all four sides of the frame accommodate any wall construction type and cable routing direction across Canadian residential and commercial installations, without requiring drilling into the wall surface at any point.

Key Features

  • Compatible with Both Phantom M-250 and M-375: A single OW Frame model serves both the Phantom M-250 and M-375 speakers, sharing the same 751 x 226 mm cut-out dimensions and 100 mm mounting depth across both models.
  • No Wall Drilling Required: The frame mounts entirely on the wall surface without penetration, enabling installation in rental properties, heritage buildings, masonry and concrete walls, and any space where wall cutting is not permitted.
  • Integrated Speaker Housing Preserves Acoustic Performance: The Phantom M-250 and M-375's own sealed enclosures mean the OW Frame installation delivers identical acoustic performance to a traditional in-wall installation, with no rear volume dependence on the wall cavity.
  • Dual Orientation Support: Installs in vertical Left/Right stereo and surround mode or horizontal vocal centre-channel mode, with cable entry inlets on all four frame sides for flexible wiring in either orientation.
  • Universal Wall Compatibility: Mounts to any wall type including plasterboard, masonry, concrete, and timber stud construction, accommodating wall thicknesses from 8 mm to 68 mm within the Phantom M-series dogleg span range.
  • Slimline 751 x 226 mm Footprint: A narrow, rectangular frame profile allows the speaker to be positioned beside or below a television or projection screen with visual discretion comparable to a conventional flat on-wall speaker.
  • 100 mm Phantom M-Series Mounting Depth: Maintains the correct mounting depth for the Phantom M-250 and M-375, preserving the speaker's acoustic geometry and driver alignment in the on-wall position.
  • White Finish: A neutral white surface integrates discreetly into any room interior and accepts paint for a custom colour match to wall or cabinet finishes.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the DALI Phantom OW Frame M-250/M-375?

The DALI Phantom OW Frame M-250/M-375 is a shared on-wall mounting frame from DALI (Struer, Denmark) compatible with both the Phantom M-250 and Phantom M-375 in-wall loudspeakers. It enables either speaker to be deployed as an on-wall solution without any wall drilling, mounts to any wall type with thicknesses from 8 mm to 68 mm, supports vertical and horizontal orientations, and maintains the 100 mm Phantom M-series mounting depth. Weights including the grille are 8.5 kg for the M-250 and 9 kg for the M-375. It is available at Vinyl Sound in Toronto, Canada.

Does using the OW Frame M-250/M-375 affect the sound quality of the Phantom M-250 or M-375?

No, using the DALI Phantom OW Frame M-250/M-375 does not affect the sound quality of the Phantom M-250 or M-375. Both speakers feature their own integrated sealed housing, meaning they do not rely on the wall cavity or the frame interior for rear acoustic volume or bass loading. The OW Frame simply secures the speaker against the wall surface and presents it architecturally. The acoustic performance of the M-250 and M-375 in the OW Frame is identical to their performance in a traditional in-wall installation, which is a significant advantage over the Phantom S-series on-wall frames where rear volume can influence bass response.

How does the DALI Phantom OW Frame M-250/M-375 compare to the OW Frame M-675?

The DALI Phantom OW Frame M-250/M-375 and OW Frame M-675 are both Phantom M-series on-wall frames sharing the same 100 mm mounting depth and 8 to 68 mm dogleg span, but they differ in size and compatible speaker. The OW Frame M-250/M-375 has cut-out dimensions of 751 x 226 mm and serves both the Phantom M-250 and M-375 speakers, weighing 8.5 kg and 9 kg respectively including the grille. The OW Frame M-675 has larger cut-out dimensions of 1,298 x 226 mm and is matched exclusively to the Phantom M-675, weighing 15 kg including the grille. The two frames are not interchangeable between their respective compatible speakers.

Can the OW Frame M-250/M-375 be used horizontally as a TV centre channel speaker?

Yes, the DALI Phantom OW Frame M-250/M-375 is specifically highlighted by DALI as a practical solution for centre channel use positioned beside or below a television or projector screen. In horizontal vocal mode the speaker's driver array aligns laterally across the 751 mm width of the frame, delivering horizontal dispersion suited to centre channel dialogue reproduction across the primary seating row. The narrow 226 mm height of the frame in horizontal orientation makes it well proportioned for installation in the space between a display and a cabinet or media unit, maintaining a clean and discreet visual profile in the room.

Can one OW Frame M-250/M-375 be used with either the M-250 or the M-375?

Yes, the DALI Phantom OW Frame M-250/M-375 is a single frame model dimensioned to accept both the Phantom M-250 and the Phantom M-375. Both speakers share the same cut-out dimensions of 751 x 226 mm and the same 100 mm Phantom M-series mounting depth, allowing the same frame to be used regardless of which model is installed. This makes the OW Frame M-250/M-375 a practical stocking item for custom installation projects where speaker model selection may be finalised after frame procurement.

Where can I buy the DALI Phantom OW Frame M-250/M-375 in Toronto or Canada?

The DALI Phantom OW Frame M-250/M-375 is available at Vinyl Sound, an authorised DALI dealer in Toronto, Canada. Vinyl Sound serves customers across the Greater Toronto Area and ships throughout Canada. For complete Phantom M-250 or M-375 on-wall installations including the speaker, OW Frame, and compatible DALI CI amplification, the Vinyl Sound team can provide full system design guidance and project support.

What wall types is the DALI Phantom OW Frame M-250/M-375 compatible with?

The DALI Phantom OW Frame M-250/M-375 is compatible with any wall type, including plasterboard on timber or metal stud construction, solid masonry and brick, poured concrete, and timber-panelled wall surfaces. The 8 to 68 mm dogleg span covers standard residential wall surface thicknesses across all construction types common in Canadian housing. The combined installed weight of 8.5 kg for the M-250 or 9 kg for the M-375 including frame and grille is modest relative to other Phantom OW Frame models, but wall fixings should still be appropriately rated for the total load. A qualified installer should confirm suitable fixing types for the specific wall substrate before proceeding.

Interesting
Format: Kindle
This was a very captivating book once you got into it thoroughly. But the third person perspective was a bit hard to get used to. But as you got into it and followed the different characters, it was interesting and filled with intrigue, conflict and forbidden love. I can’t wait to read the next one and to complete the series.

Right from the start, I was drawn in by the prologue!!!
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
Queen of Roses (Blood of a Fae #1) by Briar Boleyn Genre General Fiction ( Adult), Romance, Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Dark Romance “More primordial than the stars. My name was on his lips as he promised unspeakable darkness to any who came between us.” Right from the start, I was drawn in by the prologue!!! I’m a big fan of “touch her, and you die” vibes, but I mean, what’s also not to love about a unique Arthurian retelling with gender twists, a treacherous royal court, a dangerous quest, magical Fae & mystical monsters, entwined with a bit of spice! Morgan, Princess of Pendrath and true heir to the throne has spent most of her life dimming her light to feel safe and to make others comfortable. She is treated as an outcast in the court and repressed by her family due to the blood of the Fae within her and forced to join the Temple of the Three as a priestess in training to one day replace Merlin. Her brother, King Arthur, who reminds me of Joffrey from Game of Thrones, later tells her that he has other plans and offers her a choice of the Temple or to marry her off for political gain, unless… that is, she can journey through the great unknown and return with a long-lost fae weapon with enchanted powers known as Excalibur. Her quest begins with a roguish crew that includes the mysterious, arrogant, and heart-tuggingly handsome Captain of the Royal Guard, Kairos Draven, whom she can’t decide if she wants to stab or indulge in pleasure with. Along the way are plenty of surprises, mystical creatures, and betrayal, all while Morgan uncovers more of the truth about herself and who she can trust. This book had intriguing storylines and lovable characters that kept me turning pages and wanting more. I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds and comes together in book 2, Court of Claws, which I just started reading!! Read if you’re into- Dark Fantasy/Romance Slow–Burn Question Everything Magic and Action Fae Arthurian Legend Stabby/Broken FFC Morally Gray MMC Forced Proximity Queen of Roses is perfect for Holly Black, Jennifer L. Armentrout, and Sarah J. Maas fans. Please check the trigger warnings page in the table of contents before reading this book.

3.5 stars, A little boring to say the least.
Format: Kindle
Wow so I'm not sure where to begin on this one. This was a very different take on the legend of Arthur and Excalibur. This is told from the point of view of Morgan the sister of Arthur. Honestly the first 50% of this book is world building and character building which unfortunately was super boring for me. Morgan to me was a female MC that had a hard time in believing in herself. Sometimes taking too long to understand exactly what was going on around her. Draven was also a different male MC, like I couldn't put my finger on him and what he was all about. It was not until the last 10% of the book did we get some answers on the mystery that is Draven. The other 50% of the book centered around this big journey with everyone having a different motive. We see a spark of magic around this time that had me excited but then we never expanded upon that and what it could mean for the female MC. I feel like I want to read the second book just to see where this goes, but the spice was probably a 2 out of 5. Side characters are ok, Lancelet was fun but I almost felt like I wanted more.

A bewitching retelling of Arthurian legend!
Format: Kindle
In a land where the Fae have nearly become only a legend and those who still posses even a morsel of the blood are few and far between, Morgan finds herself cast aside by most of society due to her rumored half-Fae lineage, including her brother, King Arthur. With the kingdom at the brink of war, Arthur entrusts her with a quest to retrieve a Fae weapon of legendary power: the sword of Perun, Excalibur. Accompanied by men she loathes, Captain Kairos Draven and Ragnar Whitehorn, she embarks on her long and unbeknownst perilous journey, only to find that things she once believed to be myth are in fact very real. With devastating twists, omitted truths, witty banter and fierce action, Queen of Roses leaves you begging to know more about the secrets of Aercanum! Wow, wow, wow! Going into this story, I did not realize that it was going to be a retelling of Arthurian legend, especially not one with a fantastical twist! The unique spin almost gave me The Witcher vibes and I think adding Fae into the mix was quite interesting. I knew the basics of the legend but after reading this book, it has piqued my interest and makes me want to learn more about it. My attention was snatched as soon as I finished the prologue and I knew that I was going to devour this story. I truly enjoyed the gender swaps and even how Arthur was portrayed as villainous. Morgan’s past and even her parts of her present is absolutely heartbreaking, and I felt for her at times. I can only recall one other book that made me hate characters the way I despised Florian and Arthur, leaving me with my blood boiling and feeling disgusted. Even after finishing the book, Draven is still a mystery to me and I cannot figure out how to feel about him. I guess they just means that the author did an excellent job at conveying each character’s persona! The rich world building and imagery made it easy for me to visualize the places that the group visited along their journey. I am truly engulfed in this story and I cannot wait to see wait fate awaits Morgan and how the Fae will be even more incorporated in the next book!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
