The kit includes metal bushings and spacers to replace the factory rubber pieces where the shifter plate mounts to the car, and a bushing sleeve that will take much of the play out of the shifter. These are NOT just some hardware store washers. The precision-machined bushings, including four with a specially machined concentric step, ensure that the shifter mechanism is perfectly aligned.
