Brute in 80CrV2 w/ Westinghouse MicartaThis Brute is a great hunting or EDC knife made using the stock removal method from 80CrV2 high carbon steel with a flat ground, slightly recurved edge, clip point profile and 5 32 inch thick full tang construction blade. The handle is 5 8 inch thick at the pommel then tapered towards the blade and contoured to fit the hand nicely. The handle is assembled with Westinghouse Natural Micarta scales with two 5 16 inch flat head hex key screws. Full tang.
Comes with an ambidextrous tri-color kydex sheath with a discreet carry style clip for positive retention on your belt or clothing waistline.
About the Maker: James Fleming is a full time bladesmith and owner of Wasteland Forge in Iowa. He has been smithing since 2017 and is a Journeyman Smith with the American Bladesmith Society. He specializes in frontier style knives with an aged look as well as custom knives. He is a veteran with tours in Iraq and Kuwait.
