Reproduction of Dreaming of the Shore II by Melissa Averinos
Melissa Averinos — "Dreaming of the Shore II" is a masterful exploration of the abstract coastal idiom, seamlessly blending lyrical abstraction with a distinctly modern sensibility. The work aligns with the broader tradition of post-minimalist landscape painting, where the physicality of the medium—evident in the layered, textured application of paint—becomes a metaphor for the transient qualities of water and air. Averinos employs a restrained palette dominated by cool, aqueous tones, evoking the liminal space between sea and sky. The composition is structured through a delicate web of intersecting lines and soft, gestural marks, creating a sense of spatial depth without resorting to literal representation. This asymmetrical balance, with its generous use of negative space, suggests the vastness of the ocean and the quiet introspection of the observer. The technique, characterized by translucent washes and subtle impasto, enhances the work’s atmospheric quality, allowing light to pass through the layers and create a luminous effect. In its restrained elegance and contemplative mood, "Dreaming of the Shore II" transcends mere decoration, offering a meditative experience that resonates with the quiet beauty of the natural world. It is a testament to the artist’s ability to distill complex sensory experiences into a visual language that is both immediate and enduring. For more art by Melissa Averinos click here.

Smaller and more expensive than artisian deskmats
Color: Black
These are slightly smaller than the standard artisan deskmats and double the price.. It's also about half the thickness, so there's not as much padding. This isn't a huge deal. if the felt is on the bottom, it doesn't grip to the desk very well. The wireless charger is okay, but I found it bulky. Having a small dedicated 3 in 1 charging stand was more convenient for me. If you have a heaver mechanical keyboard, you won't be able to lift this thing to see underneath it. Overall, this is an okay deskmat and it'll serve it's purpose when I'm washing my regular deskmat, but not my favorite.

Don’t bother, not worth the $
Much smaller in person than it appears. Looks more like a piece of coral than a tree. I got this to display some ornaments for sale at craft fairs, but it’s so small, it looks silly with the ornaments on it. Super flimsy, made of cheap plastic. Definitely not worth $14. Will be returning.

Just as described, perfect for putting rings and bracelets on. I put lines on the branches to resemble a birch tree . Its good value for the money
