The Hollyland 3.5mm TRS to USB-C Cable is an official OEM replacement and specialized analog-to-digital audio patch cord engineered for Hollyland’s flagship wireless microphone series.

Standard consumer USB-C cables or basic headphone adapters are built primarily for power delivery or listening. When a production crew tries to record audio using an unshielded or incorrectly wired cable, the camera or smartphone will often fail to recognize the microphone entirely, or it will introduce a heavy electrical hiss into the recording. This factory-spare cable is custom-wired with the exact pin-outs required to reliably route dual-channel mic audio into modern USB-C mobile devices, laptops, and action cameras.

Core Audio & Engineering Features

  • Lossless Balanced Audio Routing: Features a 3.5mm TRS (Tip-Ring-Sleeve) male connector on one end and a USB Type-C male connector on the other. It cleanly carries dual-channel (Stereo/Mono split) audio signals without losing signal strength or degrading high-frequency response.

  • Integrated Analog-to-Digital Interfacing: Equipped with high-tolerance internal connection pins designed to interface natively with the host device's digital audio bus. This ensures your smartphone or computer instantly identifies the wireless system as a dedicated external USB audio input, completely bypassing the device's lower-quality built-in microphone.

  • Advanced RFI/EMI Shielding: Wrapped in dense internal copper shielding to reject Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI). This is critical when recording close to smartphones, wireless routers, and heavy stage lighting grids that naturally spit out wireless noise.

  • Right-Angle low-profile Ergonomics: Designed with an optimized cable layout that prevents the cord from sticking straight out from the side of your camera rig or smartphone cage. This keeps your mobile video rig compact and balanced, while reducing physical strain on the device's fragile USB-C port during fast movements.

System Interoperability

This patch cable is optimized across Hollyland’s audio infrastructure:

  • Wireless Microphone Systems: Plugs directly into the analog output port of receivers like the Lark M2, Lark Max, Lark M1, and legacy Lark 150.

  • Host Recording Ecosystems: Adapts those microphone receivers directly to Apple iPhone 15/16/Pro series (and later), Android smartphones, iPad Pro/Air models, Mac/PC laptops, and action cameras featuring USB-C audio input protocols (like the DJI Osmo Action or GoPro series equipped with a media mod).

On-Set Mobile Audio Protocol Tip: When connecting your wireless receiver to a smartphone using this cable, always insert the USB-C end into the phone first, wait two seconds for the phone's operating system to register the external sound card chip, and then connect the 3.5mm end into your microphone receiver. This clean digital-handshake sequence prevents the phone's operating system from getting confused, ensuring your native camera app or recording software locks onto the crisp Hollyland audio feed instead of dropping back to the phone's internal microphone.

Good solid product
Purchased in February of 2025. Very solid item. Use it constantly in our 2011 4Runner and 2017 CX5. This unit attaches firmly to vent fins in both cars. I use iPhone for maps programs and streaming music. When traveling I'm constantly rotating device 90 degrees to use phone in portrait and landscape positions. Unit has shown no signs of losing ability to firmly hold desired position despite frequent rotations. It holds firmly where you place it. Initially I had concerns about placement on dash and blocking view of radio face, clock, MPG indicator, and other displays. Didn't take too long to realize the flexibility of this thing and the many, many positions you can place it due to multiple rotational joints. Pricing was fair. If this ever wears out, I will want to buy another.

Happy with purchase, easy to install, exactly what I needed
For many years, I'd been using a similar item with a wedge-type vent mount that finally stretched out and became unusable. When searching for a replacement, I wanted to try one with a different type of mount and I looked at many brands/types of holders. This one seemed to be the best item for the price ($8.99 at the time). So far, I'm very happy with it. I got it in a timely manner, and it was exactly as advertised. I had no problems attaching the hook to the vent fin and securing it. I use it for a GPS, and since the holder is designed to stand out away from the vent a bit, my device is easier to see than previously and details are easier to read. It wobbles, occasionally, but the holder's not loose, at all, and it doesn't affect my ability to read the device. The frame is barely just big enough to hold my GPS, but so far that hasn't been a problem. The device slides into the frame easily, locks securely, and stays put. The holder pops open at the touch of a button on the back, and the device can be removed easily, without issue.

Prevents me from adjusting the air vent up or down
It's true that it doesn't block the air flow. I had to put it on the left passenger side vent to retain the ability to point the driver's air vents where I want. With it over there, I have to turn my head too far to the right when I'm driving to see my phone, and the passenger can't adjust the vent up or down. Also, phone can't tilt as far left and right as other ones. Good price, unique design, easy to install, feels sturdy, holds iPhone SE fine, and doesn't block my view of the entertainment system.

BETTER THAN A CUP HOLDER
I had a cup-holder mount and it was always falling apart. No matter how it was turned, to unfasten my phone I had to move the spring part of the holder in the same direction that removes the entire clip from the stem of the mount. Of course, I eventually lost the clip. What a bad idea. And, in a 4-Runner, on my cupholder, MAPS sometines got lost and I would have to hold my phone up to the windshield for a minute to get back MAPS back on track. Also not a good Idea. We're not supposed to be handeling a phone and driving so holding my phone up to the windshield is kinda like flagging down a cop. (The 4-Runner has hand-free phone service, as well as some kind of circuitious navigation but it's always lost.) . So, for about $9 on sale, I though I would try one of these LISEN mounts. It works great ! Really. Easy to attach securely but scratchlessly it to my center AC/heat vent and It is infantly moveable. Swing the arm 360 degrees, in and out, phone up or saideways, and tilt the phone to me or the Boss. If I get bored, I can relocate it anywhere along the center vents, or even over to my side vent if I have nothing better to do.. It is sturdy, quiet, easy to clamp in my S21, and release is simplye by pushing the button on the back. Sooo much better that my previous mount, for a third of the price. It might be the best $9 you ever spent. And still worthwhile,if you have to shell out the $18. (But I always try to avoid paying full price for anything). Enjoy !

Usable but average, with only basic build quality and stability.
This in-car phone mount is fairly average overall. It’s easy to install and works for basic navigation needs, but the build quality isn’t particularly impressive. The materials feel a bit ordinary, and stability can be an issue on rough roads, with some looseness over time. It’s usable, but not outstanding.
