No Roman emperor had a greater impact on the modern world than did Constantine. The reason is not simply that he converted to Christianity, but that he did so in a way that brought his subjects along after him. Indeed, this major new biography argues that Constantine's conversion is but one feature of a unique administrative style that enabled him to take control of an empire beset by internal rebellions and external threats by Persians and Goths. The vast record of Constantine's administration reveals a government careful in its exercise of power but capable of ruthless, even savage, actions. Constantine executed (or drove to suicide) his father-in-law, two brothers-in-law, his eldest son, and his once beloved wife. An unparalleled general throughout his life, planning a major assault on the Sassanian Empire in Persia even on his deathbed. Alongside the visionary who believed that his success came from the direct intervention of his God resided an aggressive warrior, a sometimes cruel partner, and an immensely shrewd ruler. These characteristics combined together in a long and remarkable career, which restored the Roman Empire to its former glory. Beginning with his first biographer Eusebius, Constantine's image has been subject to distortion. More recent revisions include John Carroll's view of him as the intellectual ancestor of the Holocaust (Constantine's Sword) and Dan Brown's presentation of him as the man who oversaw the reshaping of Christian history (The Da Vinci Code). In Constantine the Emperor, David Potter confronts each of these skewed and partial accounts to provide the most comprehensive, authoritative, and readable account of Constantine's extraordinary life.Binding Type: Paperback

Best Hydration
Flavor Name: Original Variety
Look I have tried every hydration packet, drink, pill etc. and listen when I say NOTHING works as good as Gatorlyte. I don't care how much it is, I will always buy this. Hangover? nope, you are REVIVED after a gatorlyte. Every flavor I have tried is so good. It is not thick and syrupy like pedialyte. I can chug one of these like water. It's so good. Flavor 10/10, hydration 10/10, size 10/10, price 8/10. Cheaper when you buy it in a pack on amazon.

Great tasting olives to-go!
Flavor Name: Kalamata, Size: 1.1 Ounce (Count of 6)
Very fresh olives and easy to bring along and keep in backpack or purse. Fermented foods like olives help with digestion and are good product to add to your meals. When eating out. I like how they were salty. And the salt content was a little high for my preference. But it wasn't overwhelming. The balance of the vinegar and salt and the good texture of the olive was amazing! Makes for a delicious snack and a better alternative than snacking on sweets. In my opinion. Very portable and easy to bring along anywhere. If there is anything I would change is, I would make it less expensive. But the product quality is excellent. So i'm okay with that.

Really good
Flavor Name: Kalamata, Size: 1.1 Ounce (Count of 6)
Very good just like what they said they would be like on Shark Tank. The lady that came up with the idea that the olives would be good and not mushy. Will get again.
