Favorite Recordings proudly presents this new official album reissue of An Eye For An Eye by Byrne & Barnes: A true West Coast/AOR masterpiece, produced in legendary music city Muscle Shoals (Alabama) and originally only released on Japanese label Climax. In 1981, Robert Byrne followed up to his 1979 album, Blame It On The Night, by teaming-up with multi-instrumentalist Brendan Barnes to record this rare West Coast classic. If they never recorded any other music together, both display incredible music career and went on to produce for many famous artists such as Pointer Sisters, Patti Austin, Earth Wind & Fire, Phil Collins, Brian McKnight, or Boyz II Men to name just a few. An Eye For An Eye features amazing and sophisticated songs, and parades all the elements of the AOR style: a jazzy sometimes fusion approach, with modern soul and groove flavors. If it's almost unknown in Byrne & Barnes' country of origins and in most part of the world, it's become hugely popular and sought-after in Japan and for all West Coast music lovers. After Charles Maurice recently selected the song "Love You Out Of Your Mind" in the AOR Global Sounds 1975-1983 Vol.2 compilation, it quickly felt obvious for Favorite Recordings to arrange a proper reissue of the full album. Fully restored and remastered with great attention to sound quality.

In depth and easy to understand

I am an active investor and have read quite a few books on a variety of investing and real estate topics. Accordingly I mostly skim new books and try to strengthen concepts I am already mostly comfortable with. I previously had difficulty grasping irr, npv, and dcf, and this book explained these thoroughly, simply, and with examples that will allow me to use these tools to make better investing decisions. I think this book will offer great value to those just getting started and those at a more advanced level alike.

I now have a new favorite real estate investing book. Real Estate by the Numbers has now been added to my permanent investing collection of must-reads. I bought Frank's book, similar topic, 20 years ago as I began my then "casual" interest in investing. I find J & Dave's book more accessible with anecdotal stories that help deliver the content in an easy-to-grasp style for both newcomers and existing real estate pros alike. Know anybody seeking financial freedom through real estate investing? Buy them a copy of J &Dave's new book (or both)!
