In 1962 Ray Charles produced and played on what many agree was Scott's best album, Falling in Love Is Wonderful, and a career breakthrough seemed imminent. But it was not to be, and Scott returned to Cleveland to work as an orderly and a shipping clerk-until he was rediscovered performing at his friend Doc Pomus's funeral in March of 1991. Acclaimed biographer David Ritz, with Scott's cooperation, has created a poignant portrait of a man whose voice cuts to the sadness and hope within us all. Well-organised, concise and beautifully illustrated

The book can be described as concise, well-structured (being constant throughout its entirety), and quite graphic, aside from the prestigious drawings from Dr. Frank H. Netter, there's also real-life pictures included.
The online resources are well used, and they're another tool in case someone want's a quick search instead of going to the index.
I recommend this book for anyone who wants to have good knowledge of infectious diseases, without having to go to the more expensive authoritative source (Mandell, Douglas and Bennett's Principles and Practice of Infectious Diseases 9th Ed.), which is also mentioned in the preface.

My 22 year-old grandson was incredibly happy with this gift!

I can't write a meaningful review of the content of this book, because I don't begin to understand it, however, it was one of the things my grandson requested for his 22nd birthday, and he seemed thrilled to get it and he tells me it's a great book, so I can say whole heartedly, this is a terrific birthday gift for anyone who's into computer games.
