BLOCKER EXTERIOR
Bauer continues to use it’s C.O.R.T.E.C.H material but this year they have added an ST to the end of it, this new C.O.R.T.E.C.H ST material is just that, it is super tough to give you a stronger material so it will stay consistent throughout the season. They have also lightened it up by creating a super thin board reinforced with Curv Composite, this thin light weight board with Curv & new C.O.R.T.E.C.H ST allows the puck to really come hard & fast off the face of the blocker. This is a big benefit as it allows the goalie the direct the puck to the corner with added velocity giving the goalie time to get setup for the next shot when it comes in. Bauer also has gone with a new Quattro Ivory Pro palm on here with a single Velcro wrist strap, the new Ivory Pro palm is very soft on the hands with some added thickness in key spots to help with absorbing any vibrations coming up the paddle through the shaft of the stick to your hand.
BLOCKER INTERIOR
We have a super thin board here and to keep it stable Bauer has beefed it up with Curv composite, this helps provide the protection you are after not just on the face but also the inside side wall. This is by far the lightest blocker available on the market today with the performance and protection to match.
