The DDB-RN42 is a complete wall-mounted Dante audio network interface. It features two XLR mic or line inputs on the front panels, two balanced line inputs on a rear-panel detachable terminal block and two balanced line outputs on front-panel XLR jacks. The module is configured and adjusted using RDL CONSOLE or other network control software. The DDB-RN42 fits a standard US dual-gang electrical box or an RDL WB-2 back box for installations in thinner European or equivalent walls. The DDB-RN42 is PoE powered, and is available in multiple finishes with optional customized graphics.

Mic/Line to network section

The two XLR inputs are each converted to a separate Dante network transmit channel. Three gain settings are software-selectable for both the mic and line input ranges to match condenser or dynamic mic levels and standard line levels. P48 phantom voltage may be software enabled when an input is set for mic level.

Line to network section

The two rear-panel balanced or unbalanced inputs are each converted to a separate Dante network transmit channel. Control software sets the gain for an input level of either +4 dBu or -10 dBV. RDL Decora®-style jack plates matching the appearance of the DDB-RN42 are optionally available for connection of various audio sources to the rear-panel inputs. An input plate may be located together with the DDB-RN42 in a triple gang box or may be mounted remotely in a single box.

Network to line section

Two Dante audio channels are converted to balanced line level feeding front-panel XLR jacks. Each output provides +4 dBu balanced for a network digital audio level of -18 dBFS. Each output is equipped with a software controlled attenuator adjustable in 1 dB steps to a maximum attenuation of 62 dB then OFF. The outputs are connected through a detachable terminal block.

Valid PoE power and synchronization to the Dante network are indicated by green LEDs visible from the front of the unit.

The DDB-RN42 is a professional grade product with RDL mic preamplifiers for studio quality fidelity and low noise performance, coupled through XLR jacks housed in a steel chassis with dual powder-coated or stainless steel Decora front plates.

The DDB-RN42’s superior performance specifications make it ideally suited to installations requiring network control and exceptional value in commercial networked audio systems. This full-featured product is engineered and manufactured in the U.S.A for continuous duty in demanding installations. Designed to outperform. Built to last.

Fun Dog Toy
Color: Classic Blue
This toy has been a lot of fun for our dogs. One of my dogs absolutely loves balls and is perfectly content to just carry this around in his mouth. The outer shell feels like a firm foam material. It is durable while still being lightweight enough for the dogs to enjoy. The ball screws together, but it is designed well enough that you are not constantly worried about it coming apart. You have to intentionally press and twist it to open it, so normal dog play has not caused any issues. Inside is the motorized component, which is easy to turn on and recharge. It offers a few different vibration modes, which keeps things interesting. The reactions from our dogs have been hilarious. One dog is convinced the ball might be plotting against him and keeps a suspicious distance. Another dog loves it so much that he holds it in his mouth while it vibrates, making his entire head shake. Our third dog plays with it exactly as intended, chasing it around and interacting with it normally. The motor has enough power to make the ball bounce, roll, and move unpredictably across the floor, which keeps the dogs engaged. It has been a great addition to our toy collection and provides a different kind of enrichment than a standard ball. Overall, the dogs really enjoy it.

A fun toy
Color: Classic Blue
Our Malamute loves this ball. He likes to carry it around with him and let it will out of his grasp and pick it back up. The outer ball it tough and durable, and so far it has held up well during play. It does bounces more than rolls I expected a little more movement across the floor in a more rolling fashion... like those weasel balls from the 90s, but tends to hop and bounce in place. It does works best on hard floor where it has enough contact to move around and keep the dog engaged. To charge you have to unscrew the ball in half to access the motor unit, and there is grease on the motor, so be careful when opening it and handling the internal piece. It is not difficult, but it is a little more complicated than a simple plug-in charging port. The button on is also super hard to press. I you have to really squeeze it and even use a tool to turn it on. It has 2 modes though it is so hard to press I am not sure which mode I actually turn on. It so far has been a fun toy for our young dog and has lasted our extreme chewer (only supervised play) I would recommend if it went on sale.

Works well on hardwood, and my dog is just a coward
Color: Classic Blue
This ball works really well on hardwood floors, rolling and moving around just like it's supposed to, though it struggles on carpet where the resistance seems to bog it down. I expected my dog to be thrilled by it, but instead he was afraid of the thing. In fairness, he's a big scaredy-cat by nature, so that says more about him than the toy. The ball itself feels very tough and well made. If he would actually work up the courage to chew on it, I suspect it would hold up extremely well, and I don't think he'd be able to pop it open on his own either. So it's a solid, durable toy that's earned my confidence, even if it hasn't yet earned my dog's.

Keeps puppy busy .. and busy .. and busy
Color: Classic Blue, Color: Classic Blue
My young Shih Tzu is all about "magic" balls. He seems to know what is in the box before it is even opened. The product page says this ball is not meant for small dogs. Well, my Shih Tzu puppy can't read. He is positively obsessed with HIS newest "smart" toy. Thankfully, this ball came with a partial charge so Bodhi could begin playing immediately. This toy is an improvement over Bodhi's previous chargeable balls with unpredictable movements. I really like that the power button is on the outside since it makes it easier than taking the halves apart every time. The toy functions on every surface (so far) and it is reasonably quiet. This item is also waterproof so it can be rinsed off easily after use. Fantastic interactive toy.

pelota interactiva para perros
Color: Classic Blue, Color: Classic Blue
