Designed for flexible IT environments, the Rocstor SolidRack 18U Open Frame 4-Post Rack with Casters delivers a robust, scalable solution for mounting servers, switches, routers, UPS units, panels, and other 19" equipment. Its adjustable depth and mobile design let you optimize space, airflow, and accessibility in data centers, server rooms, or office IT closets. Built to accommodate equipment from Lenovo, HP, Dell, and beyond, this open-frame rack provides a dependable foundation for growing networks and evolving deployments.

  • Flexible, adjustable-depth design from 22" to 40" to accommodate a wide range of equipment depths and future upgrades.
  • 18U high, 4-post open-frame rack for sturdy mounting of rack-mount IT gear with enhanced front-to-back stability.
  • Open-frame construction enhances ventilation, airflow, and easy rear access for maintenance, cabling, and future expansions.
  • Casters included for effortless mobility around the data room or office space, plus leveling feet for stability on uneven floors.
  • Broad compatibility with standard 19" rack-mount equipment, including servers, switches, routers, panels, UPS, and other IT gear from leading manufacturers.

The Rocstor SolidRack is engineered to maximize uptime and simplify deployment. The open-frame design minimizes obstruction while promoting superior airflow, which is critical for high-performance servers and network gear. With an 18U height, you gain generous vertical space for mounting equipment in a modular layout, leaving room for future expansion without needing a complete remodel of your data room. The adjustable mounting depth ensures you are never wasting space; you can dial in the exact clearance needed for your equipment, whether you are housing compact compute nodes or taller multi-rack devices. This adaptability is especially valuable in mixed environments where hardware varies by vendor or product family.

Quality construction and finish matter when you are building out a reliable IT infrastructure. The SolidRack uses a durable steel frame with a protective powder-coated finish designed to withstand the rigors of daily use, rack-mount vibration, and the occasional equipment swap. The result is a sturdy, long-lasting solution that maintains its structural integrity even as you reconfigure your rack layout or swap in new devices. The open-frame approach reduces weight and complexity compared with enclosed cabinets, making installation and maintenance faster and less cumbersome for technicians and IT staff.

Mobility is a practical feature for teams that need to reconfigure spaces or move gear between rooms. The included casters enable quick repositioning without heavy lifting, while the caster locks provide a secure hold when equipment needs to stay in place. The combination of mobility and stability helps minimize downtime during rack refreshes, cabling changes, or relocation projects. The design also supports clean cable management and improved accessibility for patch panels, SFP ports, and power distribution units, enabling faster troubleshooting and routine maintenance.

Compatibility is another key strength. This Rocstor SolidRack is built to support a wide array of 19" devices—from tower servers and blade enclosures to network switches, core routers, and UPS units. Its universal mounting rails and open layout simplify the installation process, as you can align equipment in a configuration that suits your cooling strategy, power plan, and cabling topology. Whether you are deploying in a data center, a lab, or a conference-room IT closet, this rack is designed to adapt to different standards and equipment footprints without compromising airflow or accessibility.

Beyond raw functionality, the SolidRack emphasizes ease of use and serviceability. The depth adjustment is deliberate, ensuring precise compatibility with your devices without forcing you to choose between cramped installations or oversized frames. The 18U height provides ample mounting space while keeping the footprint compact enough to fit in tight spaces. For organizations prioritizing lean operations, this translates into faster device installation, simpler cabling, and less downtime during hardware refresh cycles. In addition, the open design makes it straightforward to perform routine inspections, replace failed components, or upgrade cables without wrestling with dense cabinet interiors.

Frequently Asked Questions

What equipment can fit in the Rocstor SolidRack 18U Open Frame?

The rack is designed to accommodate standard 19" rack-mount equipment, including servers from Lenovo, HP, and Dell, as well as switches, routers, panels, UPS units, and other compatible IT gear. Its adjustable depth ensures you can fit devices of varying depths without sacrificing airflow or accessibility.

Is the depth truly adjustable from 22" to 40"?

Yes. The SolidRack features a versatile mounting depth range of 22" to 40", enabling you to tailor the interior space to your specific hardware footprint and future expansion needs.

Do the casters lock, and is floor anchoring recommended?

Casters are included for mobility, with locking mechanisms to secure the rack when it needs to stay in place. Floor anchoring is optional and can be used in environments where additional stability is desired, especially in high-traffic areas or seismic zones.

How does the open-frame design affect cooling and maintenance?

The open-frame configuration promotes superior airflow around mounted equipment, which helps maintain optimum operating temperatures and simplify routine maintenance. This design also makes rear cabling and component swaps faster and less invasive than enclosed cabinet solutions.

Is this rack compatible with non-Rocstor accessories or custom rails?

Pretty Darn Good
Format: Kindle
So I’ve been on a omega kick and this definitely hit the spot. Madison was frustrating at times with how she acted towards Lucas, Gray, and Rian. It was like she said towards the end, she didn’t believe she deserved nice things. It would have been nice to hear from her best friends again. They kind of were there in the beginning and the gone except for mention of text messages received from them. I feel like her friends would have been great help in encouraging Madison to go with the pack and never give Brent another chance because he was toxic. I loved Rian. His personality was awesome. His humor. His ability to make Madison comfortable whenever she was feeling overwhelmed. And the fact he fell for her and she fell for him first. They are cute together. I do feel like Lucas was the odd man out though. Like Lucas didn’t develop as much of a relationship with Madison. I would have really liked to see more development in the relationship between them. It was also the same with him and Rian. There is really no relationship displayed. Most of the relationship being displayed is between Rian and Gray. Nevertheless, I loved reading about the dynamic that came to fruition during the entirety of this story. Madison finally got her happiness. And Brent finally got punched in the face. Everyone got exactly what they deserve.

Pack's Promise was okay but not great
Format: Kindle
Pack's Promise was okay but not great. I won't recommend it to anyone that I know. PRO: * Very likable characters * Lots of steamy scenes that are written very well * The spelling and grammar are good * The punctuation is good with the exception of using hyphens instead of commas. Lots of hyphens. Lots and lots of hyphens. CON: * Almost no interactions with any characters outside of Madison and the pack * Nearly no plot. They meet, get together for a heat, agree to make it permanent, done * Quite a few typos such as extraneous words, missing words and words out of order THINGS TO KNOW: * More steamy scenes than storytelling * A lot of MM & MMM, some MFMM during heat

Fluffy and Nice Omegaverse
Format: Kindle
… this would have made 5 stars but for 2 reasons. A.) there were quite a few typos; misspelled words, missing quotations, “the his” mistakes, and various signs that maybe a proofread would do good. B.) the writing was quite textbook. Late blooming omega is struggling with her new self, finds a absurdly wealthy pack of alphas, every thing is almost insta-love but she resists, then decides to love herself and let everyone be happy. Rian was my favourite (obviously the author’s favourite too because he got the most page time) but I wish we could see more of his CEO side? He went to work maybe ONCE the entire time. Gray was supposed to be the “growly one” but he turned out to be puppy dog. Lucas was a genius brainiac doctor - but also super alpha with an aggressive hindbrain with a breeding k*nk?? And then there was no actual “breeding”?? Spice 3/5 - normally omegaverse books are super high on messy smut but this was tamer. Romance 3/5 - insta-love that was then resisted because of personal hangup’s Plot 2/5 - weird paced head hopping, showing the same scene from different POV’s that made me feel like it was 2 steps backward, 1 step forward. Humour 4/5 - there were a dozen lines that genuinely made me chuckle out loud Would have been five stars but the lack of proofreading and the predictable plot made me unable to get up to ADORED IT level - four stars is still and official ENJOYED IT, y’all. This isn’t a bad rating. The “Club Heat” has intriguing possibilities so I’m going to give the second one a shot.
