A reimagining of the sold-out artwork released in 2018, ‘And On Monday, God Made The World’ is a special edition graphic inspired by Billy's past as a welder on Glaswegian dockyards. First appearing as sketches in his earlier Born on a Rainy Day collections, the world-famous musician and comedian later transformed these abstract artworks, from sketchpad- to stainless steel- to Giclée artworks! Billy Connolly's iconic artworks have continued to evolve and are now transformed into a colourful fine art limited edition.
Charmingly and unmistakeably witty with distinctive bold lines, as featured by The Times and documentaries including Billy Connolly: It's Been a Pleasure, his minimalist drawings have been described as 'poignant', 'funny' and 'enigmatic' by critics.
