Elite Screens GolfSim Bay — 13' W x 10' H Full Frame Kit

The Elite Screens GolfSim Bay 13'x10' is a complete full-frame golf simulator enclosure built for permanent home installs — a dedicated basement sim room, finished garage conversion, or a purpose-built addition. Everything needed to stand the bay is in the box: commercial-grade metal tube frame and corner fittings, ImpactWhite 1145 three-layer impact screen rated to 200 mph ball speeds, ball bungees, blackout side and ceiling cover panels, and the black backing layer that sits behind the screen to lock in contrast.

Built for the buyer who is finished pricing out EMT conduit, wrestling with off-spec corner brackets, and improvising a screen mount — the GolfSim Bay arrives as one engineered system, sized and tensioned to perform like a commercial bay in a home room.

Why Serious Sim Builders Pick The GolfSim Bay 13'x10'

  • Complete full-frame kit — frame, impact screen, blackout panels, ball bungees, all hardware in one box
  • 13 ft W x 10 ft H — tall enough for unrestricted full swings, wide enough for left- and right-handed play without repositioning
  • ImpactWhite 1145 screen — 4.5 mm three-layer warp-knitted fabric rated for golf ball speeds up to 200 mph
  • Commercial heavy-duty metal frame — engineered tube and corner fittings, no DIY EMT fabrication
  • Blackout enclosure panels included — top and side covers plus black backing eliminate ambient light bleed
  • ISF Certified screen material — accurate color reproduction for high-fidelity simulator software
  • Internal dampening — three-layer screen and spacer suppress impact noise on every shot
  • 2-year limited warranty — plus lifetime tech support from Elite Screens (3-year warranty for ENR-G)

Where The 13'x10' Bay Lives

The 13-foot width and 10-foot height is the sweet spot for dedicated home sim rooms — basement builds where you've poured a slab and framed in a sim wall, garage conversions where the ceiling has been opened up to the rafters, or a purpose-built addition off a finished basement. It clears a full driver swing for tall players, accommodates both left- and right-handed golfers without moving the hitting mat, and gives launch monitors enough screen-to-tee distance for accurate carry data. If your room ceiling is below 10 feet, you'll want to step down to a shorter enclosure — the GolfSim Bay frame is sized to the spec and doesn't compress.

GolfSim Bay 13'x10' — Common Questions

How hard is the GolfSim Bay to install?+
Bolt-together. The metal frame tubes, corner fittings, and screen ball bungees are all included and labeled — most builders complete the frame assembly in a few hours with one helper. There's no welding, no cutting EMT conduit to length, and no improvising brackets. The screen attaches to the frame with metal ring grommets and bungees, which lets you tension it flat without ratchet straps or DIY rigging.
What ceiling height do I need for the 13'x10' bay?+
At least 10 feet of finished ceiling clearance — the frame stands a full 10 feet tall by spec. Most builders give themselves a few extra inches above the frame for short-throw projector mounting and overhead launch monitor wiring. If your room ceiling is below 10 feet, step down to a shorter enclosure rather than trying to compress this frame.
Can the impact screen be replaced if it wears out?+
Yes. The ImpactWhite 1145 screen attaches to the frame using metal ring grommets and ball bungees, so replacing it is a matter of unhooking the bungees, swapping in a new screen, and re-tensioning. Elite Screens sells the 1145 material as a replacement panel separately. With normal residential use, the three-layer 4.5 mm fabric holds up for many years before any wear shows.
Will this work with any projector?+
Yes — the screen is a passive front-projection surface with 0.8 gain and wide diffusion uniformity, so it accepts image from any standard or short-throw projector. The ISF certification means colors render accurately for high-fidelity sim software. Pair it with a short-throw projector mounted overhead in front of the screen to keep the golfer's shadow out of the image.
Why pay for a full frame kit instead of building my own with EMT?+
Speed, fit, and screen tension. A DIY EMT build means sourcing conduit, cutting it to length, fabricating or buying corner brackets, and figuring out your own screen mount — and the resulting frame usually flexes or sags enough to dimple the screen. The GolfSim Bay is one engineered system: the screen is sized to the frame, the bungees are sized to the grommets, and the cover panels are cut to the bay. You're paying for ready-to-install commercial-grade quality, not figuring out a structural build from scratch.
Does the enclosure block ambient light from the rest of the room?+
Yes — the kit includes blackout cover panels for the top and both sides of the enclosure plus a black backing layer behind the impact screen. Together they prevent light from bleeding around the screen and kill back-reflection, which is what lets the ImpactWhite 1145 surface deliver the contrast it's rated for in a controlled-light room.

Fairly priced but the finish leaves something to be desired
Color: Black Walnut
This wrist rest looks very nice, but I'd give the finish of the wood a C. There are a few rather rough patches, one that feels like it will develop into splinters eventually if it's not refinished. I'm using it for now, but I'm definitely going to refinish it at some point and it's inspired me to make my own wrist rests from scratch out of hardwood. I gave this two stars because it's very pretty and it's fairly comfortable to use. The wood used is pretty expensive, so I'd say that the price of this item is rather fair. I just wish they put a better finish on materials that are so nice.

Built to Last
Color: Black
When purchasing little practical and intentional pieces... it's easy to pick something of lesser value. Looking at all other styles and options, you see buttons and Velcro and magnets and they look enticing. But at the end of the day, you want the satisfaction of knowing you made the right choice. Pay a little extra and get what you want. This little tray will be in your possession for years to come. It's clean and sturdy and classy. Maybe a 2-tone color palette would be a nice option for future builds.
