Play with Clay: A 2-Part Handbuilding Class 🌟
Join Fran for a journey into the world of clay as you "Play with Clay"– a two-part class where you will create two unique pieces from start to finish!
🗓️ Dates and Time:
- Part 1: Saturday May 4th, 11 am - 2:30pm
- Part 2: Sunday May 11th, 11 am - 2:30pm
🏺 What to Expect:
Part 1 - May 4th
You'll learn the fundamental techniques of hand-building pottery pieces, shaping raw clay into your artistic vision. Discover molding, pinching, and coiling to craft two unique pieces.
🎨 Intermission
In the week between sessions, your creations will be carefully dried and fired for the next step.
Part 2 - May 11th
Return to the studio and with an array of vibrant colors at your disposal, express your personality and style through the application of glaze.
The pieces will then be fired and returned by May 16th for pick-up
👩🎨 Who Should Attend:
This class is perfect for anyone who'd like to try creating something new, beginners are encouraged. All materials, tools, and guidance will be provided, including some refreshments and snacks.
