Comfortable and easy to use, the Montane’s Wrapp™ Swift binding features warm EVA padding and webbing straps that cinch and release seamlessly. The All-Trac™ toe crampon and StabiLock heel cleat provide the traction needed on the varying snow and ice conditions the backcountry can impose. Atlas’s patented Spring-Loaded™ Suspension allows for a natural, uncompromised stride, while 19° heel lifts provide relief on ascents.
Reactiv™ Frame: Reactiv-Trac™ construction integrates the perimeter aft stability of serrated traction rails with Spring-Loaded™ Suspension and the flex of an elliptically formed nose, allowing the binding, crampon, and frame to conform and articulate independently with the terrain.
PackFlat™ binding: The PackFlat™ binding accommodates larger mountaineering & snowboard boots, featuring a single urethane z-strap that holds the foot securely and is fully field-replaceable with the included BC Utility Strap. Designed to pack flat when not in use.
BC Crampon: Designed and tested to meet the standards of alpine adventurers, the BC is the lightest crampon in the Helium series. Crafted from tempered steel, this crampon’s tangs provide the bite needed in variable snow conditions. The BC crampon also maintains a low profile to complement the pack-flat binding.
Aluminum Traction Rails: Lightweight 6061 Al Traction Rails run 2/3 length of snowshoe providing stability and control in all conditions, while still allowing tail to flex for natural gate.
19° Heel Lift: Provides relief when climbing those long steep hills, and easily stores for flats and descents.
