Make sure the room is above 10°c. Put down dust sheets to protect anything you don't want to get paint on.
Prep - Bare Wood: Start by lightly sanding the wood in the direction of the woodgrain and remember to wear a face mask. Wipe down with white spirit and fill any holes with our Multi-Purpose Wood Filler.
Prep – Tiles: Clean the tiles with bleach. Use our grout cleaner to get rid of stubborn grout stains. Wipe down with a damp cloth and repair any damaged grout before starting.
Prep - Cupboards: Give the cupboards a good sand and remember to wear a face mask. Then wipe down with white spirit and fill any holes with ourMulti-Purpose filler.
Prep - Metal: Lightly sand with fine wet and dry sandpaper, then wipe down with a damp cloth. Don't sand if painting galvanised metal. Don't use over rust.
Prep - uPVC: Lightly sand with 120 grit sandpaper and wipe down with a damp cloth.
Prep - all previously painted surfaces: If your paint is in good condition just give it a quick sand.If your paint is flaking, peeling or cracked you'll need to sand it back to bare wood. Then wipe it down with white spirit.
USING YOUR PRIMER
Give the tin a really good stir, then paint it on. After 2 hours it'll be dry and ready to paint over.
Usage Areas: All surfaces.Compatibility: Bare and previously painted surfaces.Clean Up: Clean all brushes in warm, soapy water.
