17 tracks that run the gamut from vibrant dancefloor chants with high life-esque guitars, to afro funk, drum machine and keyboard driven disco grooves, and folk style laments. The music is raw, immediate, danceable, and packed full of memorable hooks. The incisive lyrics range from protest songs to relationship advice. Joseph Kamaru was an incredibly popular figure in his native Kenya, connecting with everyone from high-powered politicians to the rural and urban working class, and his music deserves a much wider international audience. A crucial introduction to the ‘King of Kikuyu Benga’!
Compiled by his grandson, the sound artist KMRU, in partnership with Disciples, the tracks have been carefully remastered from original tape transfers by Dubplates & Mastering in Berlin. Sleeve designed by Karolina Kołodziej using original archive material from the Kamaru family vaults. Extensive liner notes include essays by Kenyan academic Maina wa Mũtonya, music journalist Megan Iacobini de Fazio, and KMRU himself.

Not an affordable option for organic matcha

Great product however very misleading on the serving amount per package. For a full flavor robust cup of matcha from this product you will get an average of 15 servings. There are much better affordable options available.

It has no sugar

Very matcha taste and texture. I used this to create a matcha butter cream for my enchanted garden themed cupcakes and it was so delicious. There was no spiciness and I was able to use the rest to make matcha for the kids so I definitely got a good value for my money. I did not have any digestive problems using this. As I did mix it with ripple non dairy milk

Must read, before deciding.
I hate change. I was against electric for the longest time. After buying 6 or 7 hand crank one, I thought.... Im not getting any younger. Absolutely LOVE it. Would buy again. Disappointed
I bought this for my husband so it would be easy for him to open cans and not have use a manual can opener and I did not want another appliance on my counter. It has not opened one single can. Waste of money. I was so hoping this can opener would work for him. I will look for a better one.
