Features exclusive material from acclaimed genre veterans and series newcomers Jens-Uwe Beyer, Yui Onodera + Scanner, Max Würden, Leandro Fresco, Thore Pfeiffer, Kenneth James Gibson and Soulsavers remixed by Wolfgang Voigt. Following his own cues from preceding entries, Pop Ambient chief curator Voigt again strikes a perfect ratio of established producers and debuting guests. From Jens-Uwe Beyer's atmospheric soundscapes, to Thore Pfeiffer's glitch romance "Good Life", Leandro Fresco's beatific drone fests, as well as Kenneth James Gibson's melancholic epic "Her Flood Knocked Me To The Ground (But I Was Already There)". Other returning artists include Anton Kubikov of SCSI-9 fame (with electronic reverie "Dekka") and Cologne sound-smith Max Würden, who was last seen releasing wonderfully immersive albums on BineMusic and Wolfgang Voigt's very own Exponate series. His guitar-infused, dubbed-out cut "Fernfeld" and the mysterious electronic mantra "186.000 Miles Per Second" are particularly striking renditions of the rich sonic narratives possible in Pop Ambient. For the 2017 release, Kompakt welcome Tokyo-based Yui Onodera; a trained musician and architectural acoustic designer by trade, Onodera embeds diverse influences from traditional sound design, film scores, contemporary composition and electro-acoustic experimentation in his work, resulting in intricate drone sculptures and sound skylines. This skill set gels naturally with the sonic sensibilities of iconic experimental composer Scanner who teams up with Onodera for the cut "Locus Solus". Wolfgang Voigt himself makes an appearance as remixer, turning the track "Hal" from electronic-rock-gospel duo Soulsavers's 2015 album Kubrick into a voluptuous and immersive sound journey. It's the cherry on top of a particularly fluffy cake that will prove irresistible to any connoisseur of ambient music.

The dog loves this, has actually held together pretty well. She is a German Shorthair, so having a toy last this long with only the deer's feet chewed off is pretty good.

Thank You Qiiiiian For Creating Such a Touch & Resilient Dog Toy

This Qiiiiiian Squeaky Dog Toy is AMAZING!! My Heeler Maggie, goes through toys like water through a sieve. She either hates it and ignores it or loves it to pieces, literally. She tears her toys apart to get the squeaker out and then it ends up in the garbage. This toy has been with her now for over 2 weeks!! That is a record in this house, no other toy has ever survived this long! This large platypus toy is made from very durable materials. It is very well made and stitched securely showing no weakness. Filled with crinkle paper inside, and so far she hasn't torn it open, so I'm still so amazed by this! Talk about tough. Heeler may not have the hardest bite force but they sure are stubborn and one they decide that they are toy destroyers, good luck to any toy that arrives here, except for this platypus toy by Qiiiiian. She has almost given up, and now just sleeps with it, which I must admit, it's absolutely adorable. I never knew she had a soft & gentle side. This toy is priced much lower than expected for the quality and durability. Yes, I've ordered 4 more for friends and family, and one for her, just in case. At prices like this, toy cannot go wrong for such a large durable, well made dog toy that is both chew-resistent and Heller Proof!

I'd buy again
Color: Purple
My dog loves this. The legs are curled in and stretch a good distance making it perfect for her playing by herself or playing tug of war! So far it's been pretty sturdy but I've only had it a week. My dog is a yellow lab and the size has been good for her

Over all a great toy!

This is a nice functional toy that doesn’t cost a whole lot. My dog has played many times with my husband: fetch, tug and just chewing on this reindeer. It also has several textures for him: smooth felt antlers and nose, rougher feet and hands( filled with squeakers, bumpy skin and its arms and legs can be pulled through the body.
Just a great toy to be interactive and it can be machine washed.
It is one I would buy again!

My dog loves it
