Created during 2020, which not only marked a difficult year for us all but also Stephen's 10 years working as a professional artist, this body of work "is meant to be cheerful, romantic, [and] uplifting". This stunning artwork is also a contemporary take on one of the oldest genres of art history!

From Ancient Egyptian depictions of a lotus flowers to Vincent Van Gogh's sunflowers and the work of Georgia O'Keeffe, flowers have been the focus of artists for centuries. For Van Gogh they 'communicated gratitude' and for Stephen Simpson, they "make people smile, take them to a happy place".
