The Science of Combustion

  • The Mystery: Spontaneous Human Combustion (SHC) is real, and it’s happening in the quiet town of Melvin, Ohio. When Melvin’s citizens start bursting into flames without warning, a young man named Sean—whose own father perished in a similar "accident"—decides to investigate.

  • A High-Stakes Investigation: Sean teams up with a cynical journalist to uncover a conspiracy that goes far deeper than a freak scientific occurrence. Is it a biological glitch, or something much more sinister?

  • Masterful Visuals: Brett Weldele’s distinct, painterly art style creates a sense of smoldering tension on every page, perfectly capturing the heat and horror of the subject matter.

  • From the Writer of The X-Files: Joe Harris brings his expertise in paranormal procedurals to the table, crafting a narrative that is as intellectually stimulating as it is terrifying.

Runs way too small
Color: Black, Size: Medium
If you live in the U.S. and wear medium, a large will fill you perfectly. I wear large and the “large” is objectively a medium in the chest arms and neck. Fix your sizes.

Looks Sharp! Stiff, Balloon Comfort!
Color: Black, Size: XX-Large
I purchased the PJ PAUL JONES Men's Oxford Button-Down Shirt as a gift, and it comes with a mix of strengths and trade-offs. The buttons are plentiful and high quality, and the inclusion of a couple of spare buttons is a thoughtful touch. The color is a deep, rich shade just as I hoped, giving the shirt a sharp, professional appearance. The fabric has a noticeable texture that looks like cotton, but the heavier thread count gives it a sturdier, more rugged feel, (almost outdoorsy) rather than the soft, premium cotton I expected. My biggest concern is that it may feel scratchy against the skin and less comfortable for long hours of wear. The shirt is also quite boxy in shape, with little to no side curve, which limits ease of movement and can cause it to crease or untuck when bending or sitting. Overall, it’s a durable, well-constructed shirt with a polished look, but comfort and fit may be an issue if you prefer softer fabric and a more tailored, flexible cut.
