Designed with an oval profile, the front is adorned with a border of stars, creating a wonderfully celestial motif. Stars held great significance during the Victorian era, often symbolising hope, and everlasting love. 

Lockets were among the most cherished forms of sentimental jewellery during the 19th century, designed to hold photographs, locks of hair, or tiny mementoes close to the heart. They served as intimate keepsakes, preserving memories and connections to those most dearly loved.

CONDITION: The locket ones and closes secure and there is only a fine patina of wear including a little knock to the front. Inside one glazed compartment is lost and the other is damaged.
