BALLISTIC GLAZING -LEVEL 3
Hygard BR1250 is a 1.25-inch, 4-ply polycarbonate laminate that meets UL 752 Level 3 standards. Resisting .44 Magnum ammunition, HP White TP 0500 Level IV standards, and ASTM F1233 Class 5 standards.
Unlike glass-clad products, this all-polycarbonate laminate is engineered to prevent spalling and white-out after repeated high-impact ballistic attacks. This maintains visibility of the threat during an attack.
All Hygard products use TUFFAK polycarbonate for optimal optical clarity in security glazing. The exterior surface has a TUFFAK AR hard coat that enables easy cleaning, resists scratching, chemicals, and graffiti. Security doors, windows, and other areas needing these levels of protection often use Hygard BR1250. It comes with a 7-year limited warranty against coating failure, yellowing, and hazing.
APPLICATIONS
This ballistic glazing is suitable for use in government and detention facilities, banks, specialty retailers, 24-hour convenience stores, and cash transaction windows or anything that needs added protection!
