Rosso rubino intenso dalle sfumature purpuree. Offre un quadro olfattivo intenso e fine, su note di more, lamponi e ciliegie, a cui seguono frutta sciroppata e note floreali. Al palato non delude e si presenta vigoroso, caldo e vellutato, con una trama tannica in evidenza e un persistente finale fruttato.

Il Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato DOCG di Pierfrancesco Gatto è una grande interpretazione di questo vitigno piemontese, della provincia di Asti. Leggermente aromatico e fruttato, conserva le sue doti di rusticità e piacevolezza di beva. Le uve sono selezionate in vigna e raccolte manualmente, prima di essere trasportate alla cantina in cassette. Riposa in botti di rovere per 3-5 mesi. Da stappare alcune ore prima del consumo.

Ottimo con preparazioni importanti e strutturate, formaggi mediamente stagionati e saporiti, carni rosse e selvaggina in genere. Da provare con Castelmagno e tome piemontesi, agnolotti e finanziera.
