Have you decided to really get your Ford off the ground? Introducing Carli's most popular system for your Powerstroke, the Pintop 2.5. This system will deliver you a lifted stance that you can tuck up to a 37" tire under, you'll get unbelievable gains in ride comfort, both on and offroad, and have a suspension system worth bragging about.

Designed and tuned in-house for the customer looking for substantial on-road and off-road performance improvement. You can expect a softer ride, yet more control and bottom-out resistance than Carli's Backcountry system.

The Pintop is a Jack-of-all-trades system from which every Super Duty owner would benefit. Raising the Super Duty Platform, then adding the 2.5" diameter shocks (55% more piston surface area than a 2.0" shock) will support the argument that these trucks should come equipped with 2.5" shocks from the factory. The higher end systems will get you more off-road capability, yes, and even a bit more on-road. The premium paid for these systems; however, doesn't compare to the on and off-road ride quality per dollar spent on the Pintop. For these reasons, it will likely remain a best seller for years to come.

CARLI TUNED 2.5" KING SHOCKS

The Pintop system boasts Carli-specific, blueprinted, King 2.5" shocks on all four corners. To provide you with the best product, a custom piston was designed to determine proper base flow rates to ensure the shock works well in the heavy-duty truck platform. Carli then tuned the shocks around the custom pistons based on the only thing that matters, seat-of-the-pants feel. All King shocks are treated with shafts machined and polished from a solid piece of 17-4 Stainless. Unlike King's standard shafts, there is no coating to wear off, weather can't hurt them and if there is a small chip, you can round the edges with emery cloth to ensure the seal housing isn't damaged as they're not brittle like the stock, hardened shafts. The shocks are finished with King oil good to -55° F. Note that all King shocks are built with a plated steel body. If subjected to inclement weather for extended periods, Carli recommends wrapping your shocks in 3M to provide a moisture barrier that's replaceable.

SWAY BAR OPTIONS

The truck will sit 3.5" higher in the front and have more wheel travel thanks to the lighter rate Carli Coil Springs. The Adjustable Track Bar centers the front axle and Stainless Brake Lines firm up braking and ensure there is enough line for the newfound travel. To round off the front end, you'll also receive Caster Shims to tighten the steering and a fabricated, High-Clearance Bump Stop Drop to keep the springs clear from the contacting the factory bump stop. The front sway bar geometry will also receive an upgrade with your choice of Sway Bar Drop Brackets (more economical option that maintains the factory sway bar end links) or a set of Extended Sway Bar End Links, a FAR more robust option. The replacement End Links are the only option that is compatible with a snow plow bracket.

SWAY BAR DROP BRACKETS SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Corrects sway bar geometry

SWAY BAR END LINKS SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Combines end links and drop brackets for perfect sway bar position
  • Extended length to accommodate leveled trucks
  • 17-4 stainless steel, greaseable and fully rebuildable
  • Excellent articulation

TORSION SWAY BAR SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Direct fitment to Carli leveling lifts
  • Replaces immobile factory sway bar with custom torsion bar
  • Huge ride quality improvement
  • Includes drop brackets and sway bar links

REAR LEAF SPRING OPTIONS

The rear can be outfitted with a replacement Full Progressive Spring Pack (reduces capacity to a "light" 3/4-ton) or factory leaf-pack modifying Progressive Add-a-Pack (eliminates the factory block and maintains payload capacity; pairs with a rear bump stop drop). This is where the F-250 and F-350 are a bit different. Since 2008, the main spring packs on these two trucks have been different; the F-250 has a lighter rate spring pack than its 350 counterparts. The F-250 Add-a-Pack equipped systems are a nice improvement over stock; the F-350 with the Add-a-Pack is still very stiff in the rear as the main pack doesn't move much unless loaded. Carli recommends the Full Replacement Leaf Spring packs for both trucks but especially the F-350 given the super-stiff factory springs. If capacity is a concern, an aftermarket airbag system should be installed to compliment the Full Progressive Leaf Springs to restore the F-350 capacity. Carli recommends a system that will allow the airbags to disconnect from the lower mount during suspension cycling to ensure you're able to take advantage of all your rear suspension travel. The Full Progressive Leaf Spring Pack will shift the axle slightly forward in the wheel well to ensure maximum tire clearance for a 37" M/T at full compression.

ADD-A-PACK SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Built in the USA by Deaver Leaf Spring
  • Smooth progressive design
  • Supplied with bump stop drops, u-bolts and hardware
  • Pairs to Carli leveling lifts, provides 1/2"-1" high rear stance
  • Eliminates the factory block
  • Load capacity is maintained, ride quality is improved

STANDARD FULL PROGRESSIVE LEAF SPRINGS SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Block eliminating
  • Includes new u-bolts and rear bump stop drops
  • Provides a 1/2" rear high stance to Carli leveling suspension systems
  • 37" tire fitment

HEAVY DUTY FULL PROGRESSIVE LEAF SPRINGS SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Block eliminating
  • Designed for those with constant 1,000lbs in the bed
  • Includes new u-bolts and rear bump stop drops
  • Provides a 1" rear high stance on matching 2.5" leveling suspension systems
  • 37" tire fitment

OPTIONAL UPGRADES:

LEAF SPRING SHACKLE

Factory rear shackles are strong but can make the ride stiff and bouncy. Carli’s shackles are made from thick steel and have serviceable bushings that let the rear suspension move smoothly, reduce axle wrap and wheel hop. Made from strong 1/4" steel, greasable and rebuildable for long life, provides a far better ride than the factory shackle, and fits both factory and Carli springs

CARRIER BEARING DROP

The Carrier Bearing Drop lowers the driveshaft carrier to prevent vibration and keep your rear suspension running smoothly on lifted trucks. Carrier Bearing Drop lowers the carrier on 2-piece driveshafts to prevent take-off shudder and driveline vibration, and includes stackable 3/8" shims to accommodate 1"-4" of rear lift.

ADJUSTABLE RADIUS ARM

Fully boxed construction, these Carli radius arms correct 0.5°-2.5° of caster at the axle mount ensuring ANY Carli customer can achieve death-wobble-preventing positive caster.

PINION SHIM

When modifying the rear leaf springs there's a small chance you'll induce a driveline vibration around 70mph when under power from the rear driveline. These pinion shims will correct the angle to 4°-5°, ideal for our lifted applications. Although these will not be "required" on every truck, we've found the 4°-5° spec to be superior in our applications and these are FAR easier to install initially than correctively.

HIGH MOUNT STEERING STABILIZER

Installs up and out of the way with the provided frame hardware and Drag-Link Bracket. A higher nitrogen charge pushes to the left to counter-act a Right Hand Tire Pull. Combine with a Carli Low-Mount for a true, infinitely adjustable stabilization system for optimal damping with any tire.

LOW MOUNT STEERING STABILIZER

  • Minimize steering wheel feedback and maximize control
  • Adjustable nitrogen pressure and custom tuned valves for larger tires
  • Includes differential guard and clamp
  • Optimized for Carli 2.5″ systems

WHEEL AND TIRE FITMENT

Carli recommends 17"-18" wheels, no more than 9" wide with 5.5" of backspacing with Carli Fabricated Radius Arms or 5" Backspace with factory arms; 5" will require a bit more trimming. Tires, 37x12.5" will fit with some trimming; 35" will likely fit without trimming. The more rubber, the better the small bump compliance will be at proper inflation pressures. The ride will firm up as you go larger in wheel diameter

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • WHEELS: Carli Recommends a 17"-18" Wheel, no more than 9" wide with 5"-5.5" of Backspacing on Leveling Systems
  • TIRES: 35", E-Rated Tire Fitment is Recommended. Recommended unloaded Tire Pressure 45F/40R.
  • RECOMMENDED CONFIGURATION: Carli Leveling Systems are Designed and Tested on Vehicles with 17"-18" Wheels with 35", E-Rated Tires. Stock wheels and tires or running a larger wheel diameter will result in a stiffer ride.
IMPORTANT NOTE ON 2° PINION SHIM:
  • *OPTIONAL BUT RECOMMENDED* When modifying the rear leaf springs (add-a-pack or Full Spring Pack) of the 2017+ Super Duty platform, there's a small chance you'll induce a driveline vibration around 70mph when under power from the rear driveline. These pinion shims will correct the angle to 4°-5°, ideal for our lifted applications. Although these will not be "required" on every truck, the 4°-5° spec is superior in these applications and these are FAR easier to install initially.

Great product and worth the money.
Size: 4 Panel-88'', Color: Black
Portable and stable. Perfect size and gives me the privacy I need when working from home. Stability is great as long as you place the stands correctly it won't wobble. I love it.

Attractive
Size: 4 Panel-88'', Color: Grey
The assembled product is just as described. The screens look great! I am using them to hide the cluttered shelving in my garage. The area now looks quite neat Something I must say, though, is that the assembly was extremely difficult. I had to use a silicone spray and some pounding to get the A and B poles to fit together. Also, it required a great deal of strength to stretch and hold the fabric panels so that the bars inserted in each hem lines up with the screws inserted in A/B poles. I strongly recommend having a partner to help with the assembly. while sc and screw into poles them once inserted intetchedtne end of each pole ( and B poles barely fit together. I used silicone spray on the end and then pounded them

Does the job, but assembling by yourself is a nightmare
Size: 4 Panel-88'', Color: Black
Does it do the job? Yes, although as others said there are small gaps but it's not a huge deal. The price is also good. But the reason I'm giving it a 3/5 is simply because the assembly for this was a complete nightmare. I honestly don't think I would recommend this to anyone unless they have another person to help them assemble it, because doing it by myself was terrible. I don't think I'd buy this again, I think I'd opt to just spend a bit more money and save myself the trouble personally.

Reasonably adequate room divider
Size: 4 Panel-88'', Color: Beige
I'm reviewing this as I assemble it. Couple things: 1. I didn't expect as much assembly. I've ordered dividers before and they more-or-less came as one unit. Sometimes the panels needed screwing together. These require complete assembly and come largely as three rods: two make up vertical columns and snap together. Another one (called part "C") makes the horizontal columns and you have two of these per panel (one attaches to part "A" and the other part "B"). These parts are metal with a plastic shim. Using the wood screws to attach to part "C" is a real pain in the neck. There's not much holding the panel in place so it's a little tricky. One tactic I've found while I'm assembling that works for the initial connections from parts A and B to their respective "C" rods is to hold the screw in place with a screw driver and then rotating the rod around the screw. This will do a number on your hands if you aren't wearing gloves. This obviously doesn't work when completing the connection. Using a driller driver on this is really near impossible because there isn't anything you can use to secure it in place. You can use it on the first panel, but as it gets longer, it becomes increasingly difficult and because it isn't wood, it's really tight. I considered drilling larger pilot holes but since there are only 4x4=16 screws I need to screw in, I just decided to use my screw driver to complete it. 2. Also related to assembly. When completing the panels (attaching parts "A" and "B" to parts "C" that have the cloth cover on it), you have to be careful that when you tighten that side that it isn't loosening the other side. Because the pilot holes are so tight, you can end up rotating the rod, which rotates it in the same direction as looser on the original side. Having someone hold the "C" rod in place while you screw it in is probably the easiest approach. I didn't have a 2nd person, so I just had to keep flipping back and forth and tightening both sides as I screwed it in. Not the worlds biggest deal, but annoying nonetheless. 3. The way the instructions are written, they seem to suggest building this thing progressively; that is, you do panel 1, then 2, connect them together, then do 3 and connect it, etc. I took a different route that I suspect saved me quite a bit of trouble, and I assembled all four panels first and THEN connected everything together. 4. For the love of God make sure you check that the plastic tip is on the same side for every panel. Otherwise, you have to take one side apart again and reverse it. On the bright side, if this happens, you've essentially bored out the pilot holes to be the correct size... which is having me question if I shouldn't have just bored them out to the appropriate width in the first place. 5. Attaching all of the panels together is also an enormous pain in the ass unless you happen to have an 88" long elevated surface. Attaching the legs either requires you to elevate one side, which will invariably twist the inexplicably cheap material in the bottom connectors... or you can attach them sideways... or you can put this thing upright, having two people hold the panels in place while you use the allen wrench to tighten the bolts on the underside. None of those are particularly great options. NOW on to the utility itself. 1. The panels do let some light through (I didn't believe their advertising, and that was one of the reasons that I bought beige, is that I wanted it to not be too dark). They aren't transparent though, so it isn't that far off from their description. They functionally work great, and keep the mess of wires hidden and when I'm sitting at my desk, actually reflect quite a bit of light into my office. Great! 2. My wife has described these as "the most hideous piece of furniture ever conceived of by man." So it does not have spouse approval factor. Granted, she will seldom be in my office area, so that isn't the end of the world. 3. These are really hard to align in a way that doesn't look a little tacky. There are some plastic connectors but they don't do a bang up job of keeping these in place. Each panel is slightly tilted and it's... quite obvious. I may at some point make my own improvements to these to help make them more level. It's not a particularly expensive product so I wasn't expecting much so it's fine and I'm not going to ding them on the rating because of it. All said, would I buy this product again? Probably not. It's assembly was ~90 minutes which is about 75 minutes longer than I was anticipating spending on this (not including the 5 minute writeup that I'm doing here). But am I going to return it? Also no, if for no other reason I'd be just as annoyed taking it apart and putting it in the original box to return it.
