Results:

If the Rapax spring shoots too hot for your field limits, you can cut a few coils without damaging the integrity of the spring, as long as it is done correctly.

The first thing you will notice is a lighter bolt pull compared to standard springs—in short: less effort for more Joules. The Silverback M160 spring and the Rapax 3+ J require similar pulling force, but the Rapax 3+ J spring delivers more FPS / Joules in comparison.
