The name is a nod to the lush gardens of the 18thCentury English landscape gardener Lancelot “Capability” Brown, who remains to this day the most celebrated English gardener. His greatest works merged the rolling landscape of untamed country parks with flower gardens and ha-ha walls.
A colour that is gentle and soothing to the eye, Capability Green works well with most other colours in the palette, but particularly well as a neutral base alongside blues, pinks and yellows.
Capability Green has been especially developed alongside Annie Sloan’s friends at the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) to celebrate the great English outdoors.
Technical Information
1 litre is enough to cover approximately 13 square metres. After painting, seal indoor furniture with Chalk Paint® Wax. On floors, seal with Chalk Paint® Lacquer.
