WS2813B Digitale PIXEL led strips

Deze LED strips hebben de speciale WS212B LEDs die intern al voorzien zijn van een controller chip . Deze maakt het mogelijk elke LED afzonderlijk aan te sturen in kleur en helderheid. Hiervoor is geen complex bedradingsplan nodig, deze LEDs worden serieel aangestuurd door een speciaal daarvoor ontwikkelde microcontroller. Met slechts drie draden wordt de zaak aangestuurd: Ground, +5V en een serieel datasignaal.

Arduino, raspberry pi en T1000 aansturing

Op de LED strip zelf worden tussen de LEDs deze seriële informatie doorgestuurd van de seriële uitgang ene LED naar de seriële ingang van de volgende LED. Het is op deze manier mogelijk om voor iedere lengte ledstrip de kleuren aan het begin en eind op elkaar te laten uitkomen, of zelfs een display te maken die beelden kan neer zetten. Deze digitale LED-strip is ideaal aan te sturen door een arduino, raspberry pi of een T1000 controller.

Cascade schakeling

Elke pixel van de drie primaire kleuren heeft 256 helderheid niveaus , geschikt voor een full-color display. Scan frequentie is niet minder dan 400Hz/s. Elke pixel van de drie primaire kleuren kan 256 helderheid van het scherm te bereiken, afgerond 16.777.216 kleuren full colour display en scan frequentie niet minder dan 400Hz/s.
Digitale aansturing gaat door middel van een enkele lijn welke per LED doorgegeven wordt .

De refresh rate is 30fps voor lage snelheid 512 pixels en hoge snelheid niet minder than1024 punten.
Snelheid van gegevens verzenden kan met 800 kbps.
Toepassingen zijn voor LED decoratieve verlichting en indoor/outdoor LED video schermen. De hier gebruikte LED is de WS2813B, dus 4-pin SMD 5050 package, exra hoge lichtopbrengst.
