- The DIGITUS EV charging cable is compatible with all electric cars (EV) and plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEV) that have a CCS or type 2 charging port and are charged with alternating current.
- Single-phase charging cables for max. 7.4 kW / 32 A are typically used for charging a hybrid vehicle at home – a 7.5-meter cable length is sufficient for most electric vehicles and charging situations.
- For charging outdoors, the charging cable meets protection class IP55 (protected against water jets), which enables a secure connection between the charging station and the charging socket (charging inlet).
- It can be guided around the E-mobile, so that the parking position is no longer determined by the position of the charging station.
- Thanks to the IEC type 2 plug and socket (EU standard IEC 62196-2), the mode 3 cable can be used at almost any charging station and wall box in Europe to charge e-cars and other electric vehicles.
