Het album, geproduceerd door Grammy-winnaar Dave Cobb en in slechts vijf dagen opgenomen in Cobbs studio in het laagland van Georgia, laat Betts horen op gitaar en zang, vergezeld door een getalenteerd ensemble met onder meer Johnny Stachela, J.D. Simo, Brian Allen, Philip Towns en Derrek Phillips. Deze LP met tien nummers, geschreven in samenwerking met zijn oude partner Stoll Vaughan, legt Betts' rauwe songwriting en meesterlijke gitaarspel vast, waarbij soulvolle klassieke rock, blues en rootsinvloeden worden vermengd tot een kustachtig, introspectief geluid. Het album is ontstaan uit een ingrijpende periode in Betts' leven na het verlies van zijn vader en mentor, Dickey Betts, een spilfiguur in de southern rock. Het is zijn meest persoonlijke en openhartige release tot nu toe, waarin hij thema's als sterfelijkheid, tijd en veerkracht aan de orde stelt en tegelijkertijd doelgerichtheid, hoop en optimisme uitdraagt in deze onzekere tijden. Amazing frisbees for dogs!

These are the best frisbees for dogs. They hold up well but do fade over time if left in the sun. Our border collie mix is an avid frisbee guy and these are his favorite. The float in water well and last for quite a while. He’s not a chewer so I can’t speak to the durability with chewing. I buy a couple every year when his old ones get faded and gross, otherwise we would continue to use these for over a year!

We have had these for several years now they have been through countless catches, tug of war, being peed on (ew), and left out in the blazing sun, freezing cold, snow, ice, and rain. They are faded, yes, but they are perfectly intact without even a loose stitch. The design of them is different from others and the fabric of the frisbee has a slight parachute effect that gives your dog just a tiny bit more time to get those long throws. I would buy them again, but the three we have are still going strong.

Boomer an 8 yr old male Chesapeake Bay Retriever, 105#. When Boomer isn’t duck hunting, he is all about THE BALL. He chews them apart like I own stock. DAY 1 : I’m impressed with the Mankoda . It’s still in one piece. Barely any show of wear. Boomer is carrying it around like a prize, definitely having “a ball”. Needless to say he is loving it. The bright colors are easy to see in the yard. We haven’t played outside so I can’t comment on the bounce. I got the three pack and I feel it’s a reasonable price. I ordered the large ball because Boomer is a big boy. The ball its self is foamy soft to the touch but very firm . Has no smell at least that I can detect . It has little indents on the surface, I agree (with the info) that it will help rub against my boys teeth (brushing time reduced!). You can see them in the picture (the indents not the teeth). The divots you see are from Boomer. But no real damage. I’ll keep updating for a while.
